Plato, Chinese Proverb, and Italian Proverb

Good morning family!!!

Plato, a Greek philosopher, and considered to be an Athenian, said, "Never discourage anyone... who continually makes progress, no matter how slow" & "Be kind, for everyone you meet is fighting a harder battle."

A Chinese proverb reads,"Ten years to cultivate wood, a hundred years to cultivate a man" (Guan Zhong). An Italian proverb says, "After the game, the king and pawn go into the same box.”

Thus, we never truly know another person. We only know what they say to us. Be kind to others. Everyone has struggles, including yourself.

Life is not a vacuum. We all don't experience the burning bush. Sometimes, and most often than not, life is about inch by inch, cinch by cinch progress, learning through experience. Be kind to yourself.

At the end of the day, regardless of who the next person is, we're all human, living life one day at a time.

Thought for the day: Have patience, tolerance, love, and kindness with not only others, but also yourself.

Action for the day: I'm going to practice more love, tolerance, patience, and kindness with others and myself today. I'm going to remember that everyone has a battle I know nothing about.

Peace and love to all
