I love that blurry place where life’s transitions are made
without you even knowing it.

You're welcome ;)

I’ma steal this reply! I need it several times a day.

@everlove did a post on this today with a lot of samples too. I am going to rewrite some for different approaches. We seem to have more and more of this.

Thankfully @updanny saw the error of his ways and is commenting nicely.

Nice....

The effect is very good @countrygirl. I like to see your shoot.

Thanks @zamamiali. :)

Ur welcome @countrygirl.

Brrrrrrrr! I think i like the one with the skaters feet more. great idea!

It was a tough decision. It doesn't take much for me to second guess myself :)

Don't second guess yourself. You have an amazing outlook and you always catch the perfect image. Way to go again. This is a great effect you captured. That parent and child out enjoying a perfect day. Pure joy.

I love flipped reflections like this, very nice!

It's the first time I tried it.....I like it - reminds me of a watercolor painting.

Oh, it does look like that for sure, I love that! Can I send you one here in the comments?

sure!

like an abstract painting.
great colors and great details. congratulations my friend. I love it !

Thanks @artizm. I appreciate your feedback. :)

I love both the shots , very artistic !

Oh hey @ashwinrajt! Thank you so much :)

Lovely creative take on the ice theme. Very nice pics!

Really cool perspective, I love the subtle colours!

Thanks @vtravels. I appreciate your input.

A beautiful idea to see reflections in scarred ice - lovely effect

Thank you so much sir!

Nice entry! And looks like we share the same passion - ice since we both suggested that for the next theme! :) The hardest part for me was to pick one ... out of many ICE photos i have in my collection. It was just a shame to post only one, so i created a post with couple and placed only one (well two actually :P) in the reply for the contest.

I thought I had suggested ice at one point but couldn't really remember. There was something else I suggested too....ummmm. Old lady brain :) It was probably something as mundane as dead wood.

I love the photo you chose btw. I upped you on the contest post.

Thanks for commenting here too.

Cool shot (literally, haha, ice!) The quote is so nicely paired. And it really is true though! I'm gonna save that one!

hahah....you're too funny. For sure, take the quote....I'm quote queen and have a large file collected over the years. I love words. I know taking a quote out of its context can change it's meaning, but that's art - especially when paired with a photo. Am I right? or am I right :)

I like it sooooooooooo much!

Thanks! Glad you like it soooooooooo much :)

Both great shots, but I think you choose the right one. I love the effect of the reflections on the scratched ice.

Thank you @jctdesign. You noted the blurred lines too. I appreciate your input.

Ahh! Beautiful! Especially the first photo; it looks like the faded image of people trapped under ice - like a memory we can't return to. The red really compliments the blue in it too.

Oh thank you so much. It does look like a memory frozen in time....I like the way you described it.
