“Doorway” to heaven

They opened up a town of greenery surrounded with flowers, trees and plethora of herbs that only comes in national geography. The convergence of three river as they say the meaning of the name Munnar was no longer relevant, they went on to plant the most exotic of all drinks in that era, the tea on the foothills which later turned out to be a paradise in itself!

The tea plantation in the region started growing in length and breadth, more than life. Than ever the British could imagine in their wildest of dreams. The place became the adobe of workers from all walks that could accommodate the ones that had a disability or was abandoned in the so called society of all.
