#Vienna / Albertina Museum

in museum •  7 years ago

The Albertina Museum is one of the most important museums of Vienna. There are many works made in lithography and engraving in the museum.

It was built as the Taroucca Palace in the 18th century. Also used as the residence of the Maria Theresia, the ruler of the Habsburg dynasty. The name Saxen Teschen comes from Duke Albert.

The palace, which was damaged in World War II, was later restored.

The palace is home to the furniture and lifestyle remaining from the habsburg dynasty.

Pablo Picasso, Claude Monet, Henri Lebasqu to, Ernst Ludwig Kirchner, can closely examine the statements of famous artists such as Fernand Léger.

Entrance fee to Albertina Museum 12,90 €.

The museum can be visited from 10:00 to 18:00 every day of the week
