I've always had a love of finding Mushrooms. I was so blessed last fall when a week after moving on 26 acres in Missouri. I found the mushroom find of all mushrooms it started as a white dot and grew to almost basketball size on a tree right outside my house in my front yard. Lyons mane also known as Hericium erinaceus . Glad I can share the steps from finding the gem all the way through finally cooking it up. It was delicious I hope you all have a blessed day. Woah! Amazing find! I've been researching Lion's Mane mushrooms for a couple weeks now and started consuming small amounts regularly for the past week or so. Apparently it has some amazing health benefits, most notably cognitive enhancement. It is supposed to reduce plaques in the brain that interfere with the signalling between neurons. It also is one of the only foods known to man that triggers the production of Nerve Growth Factor in the body, which may help repair nerve damage. Incredible stuff. Upvoted this and followed you. :)
