A Few of the Many Mushrooms Found in Muskoka Canada. 100% @SolarGuy Photos!

Mushrooms are such an unworldly thing, touching or eating the wrong ones might be the last thing you eat or touch within just a few moments. Don't eat these ones!"

Some scientist will argue the largest living thing on earth is a mushroom. It travel hundreds of miles underground only popping up in various forms to check out the local view. These ones don't fit that description but still they're pretty cool. Bright and colourful, tough and strong, deadly or nutritious. Pick a flavour and place you bets.

I'm guessing because of it's appetizing colours it will be delicious but I dare not even touch it. Even looking it in the eye too long might harm my precious blue eyes.

This one is like a cup ready and waiting to be filled with sweet water from the clouds. It's amzing how things evolve into what ever works best for them. I can't imagine a world without such chaos.

This last one struggled and endeavored and fought it's way through dirt and then through the old dead log of a tree just to get what it was that it needed. Never forget the power of mushrooms, they can be as big as a state in America, seriously. This one is rather cute and seemingly harmless. I'm sure the poison ivy growing steps away is a kitten in comparison.

Want to know more? Me too. Until then I think they make great photos and I will stick to eating the mushrooms on the menu and in the grocery stores.

When you live off grid in Canada's remote regions you're truly in touch with nature, you have no choice, luckily we know enough to know that.
