The day we sang Helium-Boosted Mozart!

Hi there, this is a funny story from the ARAMUS choir...

As already mentioned in our introductory post here, we are an amateur choir based in Rome, Italy.

One day we were asked to shoot an advert for Alfa Romeo, a mythical Italian sports car brand. They wanted something special and funny from us…not just a well-behaved choir singing Dies Irae from Mozart´s Requiem!

So, in order to be funny, we decided...to inhale :-)

In the video below, you will see us performing Mozart, before and after inhaling Helium. You may not know that, but if you inhale Helium from a balloon, it will give you a high-pitched voice for a short period of time, which is quite funny.

It took a whole afternoon to shoot such a short movie, but it was worth it. If nothing else, for the laughs when we all went through the makeup, as most men were quite embarrassed with that!

So, after the makeup, here we go. It´s kind of exciting when you hear the sound of a clapperboard and you are supposed to perform after that…

wow, it was interesting and original idea, I hope this does not hurt the voices of singers because they are so beautyful :)

No, doing this just as a one-off joke makes no harm. However, do not try this at home and do not repeat at will :-)

Too bad I wasn´t a member of the choir at that time!

Remember...never try the same with SUPERFLUID Helium :-)

Ok, ok, we need a physicist in the choir. Granted :-)
