Understanding the reason & setting intention in music

Why do you play music?
Why do you play guitar?
Why are you practicing X or X or X?

To get the best results, you need to know why you're doing it in the first place.
If I'm practicing scales to get a good tone, that's different than learning scales to understand the fretboard.
If I'm practicing jazz licks to get the right time feel and phrasing, that's different than learning it to improve my ears.

Of course, you can get many benefits from doing one thing, but the MAIN result is more measurable if you decided why you're doing it beforehand.

Understand the reason and set your intention.
Then, you can measure the results.

Good luck! :)
