it's Danceweekend! I am a fan of electronic music in all its facets and dance to almost all beats. There is, however, a style that became more and more important in the middle of the 2000's and which never really lets me sit still when it is played. Originated in the early 90's from contemporary influences of the Funkhouse, which already contained many swing and jazz elements, the genre developed more and more over the "NU Jazz" up to the "Electroswing" as we know it today. Driving house/techno and electrobeats combined with the uncanny creative influences of jazz/swing-jazz and funk result in uncanny danceable music where the foot immediately begins to rock.
One of the most famous representatives of the electroswing is surely "Parov Stellar" he is considered one of the pioneers of the genre and with his tracks on countless parties he makes sure that the dance leg is swung properly!
My first track for Sunday's dance weekend is "Parov Stellar - Booty Swing."
The video and title fit the theme like no other! In this sense, turn up and dance! Have fun: -)

es ist Danceweekend! Ich bin ja bekennender Fan der elektronischen Musik in allen ihren Facetten und tanze zu ziemlich allen Beats.
Es gibt allerdings eine Stilrichtung die Mitte der 2000er immer mehr an Größe und Einfluss gewann die mich eigentlich nie still sitzen lässt wenn sie gespielt wird. Entstanden Anfang der 90er aus Zeitgenössischen Einflüssen des Funkhouse welches bereits viele Swing und Jazz Elemente enthielt entwickelte sich dann mehr und mehr das Genre über den "NU Jazz" bis zum "Electroswing" wie wir ihn heute kennen. Treibende House/Techno und Electrobeats kombiniert mit den unheimlich kreativen Einflüssen des Jazz/Swing-Jazz und Funk ergeben = unheimlich tanzbare Musik wo der Fuß sofort anfängt mit zu wippen.
Einer der bekanntesten Vertreter des Electroswing ist sicherlich "Parov Stellar" er gilt als einer der Pioniere des Genre und sorgt mit seinen Tracks auf unzähligen Partys dafür das Tanzbein ordentlich geschwungen wird!
Meinen erster Track für den Sonntag am Danceweekend ist "Parov Stellar - Booty Swing"
Das Video und der Titel passen wie kein Zweiter zum Thema! In diesem Sinne, aufdrehen und mittanzen ! Viel Spaß :-)
I don't want to keep you from my personal favorite. I'd just ask you not to watch the video with the kids. It's done in cartoon style, but at the end it gets very violent. The music is simply captivating, Jazz saxophone / oboe and clarinet on driving electro beats with this incredibly pleasant singer "Zoé Colotis" of the French ensemble "Caravan Palace" who knows how to convince live as well as in the studio!

Meinen persönlichen Liebling möchte ich euch nicht vorenthalten. Ich würde euch nur bitten das Video nicht mit den Kindern anzuschauen. Es ist zwar im Cartoon Style gemacht aber wird zum Schluss doch sehr Heftig. Die Musik ist einfach nur mitreißend, Jazzsaxophon / Oboe und Klarinette auf treibenden Electro Beats mit dieser unglaublich angenehmen Sängerin "Zoé Colotis" des Französischen Ensembles "Caravan Palace" welches Live genauso zu überzeugen weiß wie im Studio!
