Meek Mill got arrested for popping wheelies on his bike and for getting in a fight on an airport earlier this year and now the rapper can face up to four years in prison because those crimes violated his probation from 10 years ago.
The rapper gets support from artists including Jay-Z,Rick Ross,T.I and many other.
It is a question if he should really be on
probation for a crime he committed when he was 19 years old by possessing gun and drugs.
Dr. Keith Reeves, a professor of political science at Swarthmore College in Pennsylvania, who has taught and mentored inmates for 14 years, said the rapper's sentence crystallizes a sentiment in the community that the criminal justice system needs to be reformed.
As it seems the rapper is very frustrated as he says he feels that he is being treated different than anybody else.
What are your thoughts on Meek`s long probation and the sentence he is probably about to do?
It sounds frustrating, he was on parole for like 6 years and kept having small violations. I don't know the legal intricacies but I hope he's able to avoid jail time if it's possible
