Late Night Recording~

I have exciting news! I have today and tomorrow off. So, I can spend a little more time recording this weekend. It's the first weekend I've had off forever!

I consumed wayyyy too much espresso and intended to have a late night recording. It's nice not having to rush. Usually the most I can devote to a recording like four hours. I've made an average producing time of two-three hours. Making progress!

It would seem not having to rush made it so I could record a quality track in two and a half hours.
I haven't really been happy with the last few recordings I've made.
I can say I'm highly pleased with this one.

Nirvana's Nevermind was said to be recorded within two weeks. I'm trying to get to that level, you know? Getting there.

It has a similar vibe to a few of the ones I've recorded. Lucie and Matching Socks, especially. I hope it'll become it's own song. I wanna keep Lucie for sure. May just add elements from Matching Socks into this one.

John Lennon was once quoted as saying "Life Happens When You're Busy Making Other Plans,"
That's a bit long for a song title. So I figured my title, being a little shorter, was more ideal.
You Lennon haters can shut your face. Yeah, the guy had demons. I still appreciate his wisdom and art.

Side ramble:
I'm expecting my first full week of payment at my job. And it's interesting. The first two checks were forty dollars and one~hundred twenty. And only ten percent or so was taken out. But because I had full time and overtime, twenty percent was taken out. How odd that if you're fulltime, more is deducted for Uncle Sam.

I realize taxes are important. But the most I've been used to is fourteen percent. Taxes suck, man...Necessary, though. Has anyone had a similar experience?
