Today, I'll be talking about the legendary Captain Beefheart. His music is, to say the least, abrasive. One really can't understand it without giving it a listen themselves! Beefheart, the stage name of Don Van Vliet, was in the same musical sphere as Frank Zappa and released some truly crazy and forward thinking tunes. Here's his full discogprahy:
