Sometimes I wonder why you lit the love in my heart and then let it die. If someone else falls in love with me, I’ll sadly remember your farewell. With eveery new love, you will come back to me. In the eyes of another woman I will see your gaze once more.
If I fall in love again, I’ll be you again. If anyone hugs me, I'll close my eyes and see your beautiful face. I’ll find other charms, but you’ll be in my arms. Even if I say “I love you” again, it will not be true because I will love you every time I love again.
The theme comes right away, cheerful and dancing, although the bridge is not so lively. Brown starts his solo with a desire to eat the world, his phrases are fast and coherent. Land follows him with good humor and a positive attitude, as if life were smiling on him. Powell then plays the piano with the same good mood and optimistic disposition. After that, Roach comes in with good drive keeping the solo at a high level, and finally comes the re-exposure of the theme.
