Jlin (Jerrilynn Patton) is a Gary Indiana based producer melding collage style experimentalism with direct expressive percussion samples. The end result is something enveloping and unique, Taking influence from Chicago's footwork production style she manages to skew the genre lines giving the music a raw yet refined quality.
Jlin has 2 albums & 2 EPs under her belt all released on the Planet Mu label. This track "Carbon 7 (161)" is taken from her sophomore record "Black Origami" out in 2017.

Past Drones:
Future Museum's Looping Elegance
Golden Retriever's Revolving Melodic Epics
Forma's Pulsing Beat Driven Electronics
Black Origami is one of my favorites from 2017... Jlin is one of our most original beatmakers of the moment and I hope she can get some more hype in 2018
