Rapping Heavy Metal

In today's post, I present you a unique project. It's the collaboration of Dimitris Mentzellos and Prejustice Reborn.

What is so unique about this project you might ask. It's a blend of music genres that usually don't mix together: rap and heavy metal. Certainly, there have been instances in the past that artists have worked together, but they are few and this makes them rare. In my country and to my knowledge there isn't any other project of this kind. Give them a try and might actually like them.

Now. let's meet the participants.

Dimitris Mentzelos

Dimitris Mentzelos ( Delta Mee ) is one of the two mc's, lyric writer and performer of famous ( in Greece ) satyrical hip-hop group Imiskoumbria. Together with Mithridatis and DJ Prytanis they formed this group that has many hit songs, gold records and numerous live performances in Greece and all over the world. Lately, is pursuing a solo career with records like "Rapper of the Year". His great affection and passion for music and especially Hip-Hop and Heavy Metal ( we didn't know that until lately ) pushes him to new paths of collaboration and exploration. Together with Athenian Heavy Metal band Prejustice Reborn tries something new he calls "Rap meets Metal".

This is their latest song featuring Donald D that has worked with IceT and is called "Scream Your Lungs Out"

Prejustice Reborn

Prejustice Reborn is an Athenian Heavy Metal bands with influences from the other side of the ocean. It's consists of Tasos Kanelopoulos ( vocals,bass), Manolis Konstas ( drums), Thodoris Pantazis (guitar) and Kostas Karavolas ( guitar). They have released a demo "Weak" (2008), an EP "Rain Must Fall" (2010) and their first full length album "Elpis" (2013) from B-Otherside Records.

And the last song, but the first one published called "Rock Rap Heavy".

So, that was what I wanted to share with you today. After an intense three day NLP seminar / workshop with the one and only Judith Delozier I thought we should lighten things up with a little bit of Heavy Metal. :)
