Some relationships may be on the rocks. Lots of blaming. Lots of pointing fingers, on what had gone wrong. But instead of blaming anyone, talking it out, resolving the problems and issues is what should be done.
This song is one of the special songs from Aaliyah, by which it was taken from her last full-length album before the tragic accidents which led her to death.

What's your problem?
Lets resolve it
We can solve it, What's the causes?
Lyrics
Both of the character and the guy are silent. They have problems yet they don't talk about it. Things are getting cold. So the character wants to know what has gone wrong, asking what's the problem because obviously, the guy has issues that needs to be resolved.
Am I supposed to change? Are you supposed to change?
Who should be hurt? Who should be blamed?
Lyrics
The character believes she may have done wrong which caused the problems. That's why she is asking if she needs to change, or she would be to blame. Yet, she strongly believes that they need to make resolution to save the relationship.
You tryna blame me when I don't even know the reason
I think it's just the season, Maybe the month
Lyrics
The guy finally spoke up. He doesn't think there is a problem but he seemed talking about that the girl is just overthinking, and putting blame of the guy. She may be too paranoid. Quite didn't understand what's with the season, but perhaps it's about the moment the girl isn't feeling good. Might be some sort of seasonal depression or what, that's why she's going through such emotional phase.
I'm tired of these things, I'm tired of these scars
I think I'm gonna get me a drink, I'll call you tomorrow
Lyrics
It seems things are not fully resolved in the end because the guy haven't made up his mind yet. Instead of resolving the issues, he went out for a drink, and postponed to discuss the issues the next day.
After the very popular song Try Again, Aaliyah made a great comeback through her self-titled album, which sadly became her last album after her passing from plane crash. This song was her lead for her multiplatinum album, but didn't quite perform well as it managed a Billboard number 59 peak. But it was more popular in UK as it taken number 20 position, based from OCC. Released years before YouTube, it managed to earn more than 19 million upon this write-up.
