Metal Bands you probably never heard of...yet (Part 8: Azerbaijan)

This mostly muslim country in the South Caucus region is not only host of European Song Contests (2012, Baku) but also home of some remarkable metal bands that you probably never heard of. I first got in touch with Azerbaijan when I read about

Violet Cold - imo one of the best Black/Atmospheric Metal Bands out there

But you can also find some nice Melodeath, e.g. from Silence Lies Fear

Or some Heavy Metal from Sirr with a slight oriental touch

Or a little bit Sludge/Stoner, e.g. Pyraweed (HUGE wall of sound!)

Or some tasty Death/Prog/whatever from SerumHatred
