Welcome to Week 3 of Acoustic Music Monday!
I have found some new treasures for you!
2 weeks ago I started a daily themed curation series and I'm really trying to keep going with it. I will not be able to make it every day, but I will do my best for at least 2 or 3 times a week, and the music mondays are the days I will always for sure try to do. Music is my passion.. hearing it, playing it.. writing it.. and I especially love finding it.
Not going to talk so much this week because I really want to get this finished. So, without any more blabbering from me, here are some amazing treasures I think you should check out.

I know.. I'm sharing another open mic entry, but I can't help it! I love the open mic!
And if you've never heard Johannes Burghart sing before, wow are you in for a treat. I've never heard Rihanna's song before but I am pretty definitely sure that this version is far better. This voice rolls out into the air like a dream spinning round and round in the morning sky. Could be an evening sky. But the picture here taken on a clear, blue day is making me feel more attached to a feeling of morning.
Do please give a listen and let him know your thoughts! Comments mean the world to someone who is really throwing themselves out here to the world like this. Can't really imagine anyone not liking this performance. Even people who aren't into acoustic music will be able to dearly appreciate the brilliant magnitude of Johannes' voice. Enjoy! One more note.. I can't help but to pat myself on the back for inviting this awesome soul to join the open mic all the way back 5 months ago. And he did! And now look at him! Killin it! Yeah! Have a look and listen!

He may not have a lot say about this performance but I do. First of all, this song was one of my very favorites when it actually came out. So, again.. I am picky about covers. But Darryl's voice carries some seriously heavy weight behind it, and has that growly rough edge to it exactly in the right places of the song, the way it's meant to be performed.
I loved it so much that I looked him up on youtube and then I found THIS as well. I like it even better than the What's Up cover, because it's an original song. I would love to hear him enter this into the Steemit @openmic! (Darryl, if you are reading this.. doooooo it.) He's playing drums and bass in this video too. I love when people do videos like this.
