My uncle's cymbals factory

in music •  7 years ago

The Ufip Cymbals was founded by my uncle Luigi Tronci's family about 90 years ago. He is still the president and I want to share with you this news service made by italian television and broadcasted a few weeks ago.

I'm going to shoot a video myself in the factory and in the Percussion Instruments museum created by my uncle.

ok, i understood half of the video xD It must be really hard to make perfect drum disks.
From what i could understand the Rolling stones drummer used drums from your uncle's shop? Amazing!
I always wanted to pick up an instrument, but i've never had time for it, but even though i like drums i would have to go for a guitar, love guitar

So this is how drums are made. Amazing...Couldn't quite get what the video says but i can tell your uncle is passionate, hardworking... Aand a legend

I've heard that some of the cymbal companies are hundreds of years old, so I guess he's a new guy ;) Looks like it's a very manual process. I'm no drummer, but I know they love their cymbals.

yes, they started in the half of the 19th century making pipe organs, then passed to cymbals about 90 years ago. but the difference is that in Ufip they still do the cymbals handmade, whereas most of the cymbals today are made by automated press.

that show us how the great people like your uncle protect music passion

i'm a music lover although i don't really know how to play drums but that keeps the music alive. looking forward to watch the video you will post! 😊😊😊

Your uncle must have planned long enough and work hard enough to get this factory running. I admire his courage and obstinacy.
