Interpol Marauder

The new Interpol album is here! Was it good? Yes, kinda, just as good as El Pintor but nothing more, I was not expecting a new Interpol album anytime soon but ever since the singles y was happy about it but with very low expectations. Production is weird, and just like in a The Strokes album voice is at the same volume as the instruments which I like because is risky, forces you to pay attention.
This is not a back to basics album and neither is a comeback, it feels like a comfy album and an excuse for touring which I like a lot but is not going to change the music worlds.
Will it be part of my album of the year list? Probably but just because I’m Interpol bias, as a matter of fact this is a niche album.
