Bengkel Musik Batas is the first musical group of poetry in Aceh, established November 10, 1987 until now continue to exist spread the concepts of musicalization of poetry in various regions.
The founders of Bengkel Musik Batas come from theater players (drama) and poets, nobody learns music specifically, they only have natural skill to play some musical instruments.
Bengkel Music Batas which has now created more than 3000 poetic musical compositions (1987-2018), conducted musicalization of poetry from 1990-1995, many resumes of research resulting from their discovery of the art of musicalization of poetry.
The musicalization of poetry is a means of freedom of work, all the contents of nature can be polarized into its instruments, all poems without exception can be its inspiration and all artistic talent, especially music and literature can be the creator and the player, though not in particular music school.
