Am I a genius? Yes.

So you've maybe listened to some of my music and thought me to be a music god who has been in the game for years.

Surprise playa! I have only produced five songs, and I have no idea what I am doing.

I'm maybe half way through my first album and have almost learnt all the skills I need to be the number 1 playa on the music scene.

This is the first song of the album. I produced it in a rush and just on a whim for Steem's birthday.

This is the second song. I have probably spent the most production time on this song. I'm not finished with it yet. After all the songs are complete I will re-produce all the songs seriously making them 1000x better. I'm still learning techniques so playing around.

I love the tune on this; it represents that "floaty" all time high feel, but the lyrics are a bit messy, and need lots of work. Who knows though...

This one was produced very raw in terms of vocal audio, but it sounds very promising. It makes me question; am I the world's greatest rapper? Or do I need a Kendrick Lamar masterclass?

My piano playing style took years to learn. I avoided theory and made sure to stick to my arrogant no-nonsense childish ways (just in case I get taught a rule and believe it to be true when actually there is another way). I often don't know what notes or chords I am playing, but I feel it and try and summon the next note or movement with automatic hand movements, until my hands dance in symphony with the emotion in my mind. I'm also a harmonica master through sheer tongue, suck, & blow skill.

I have only ever produced five songs including the four above. This was my first song.

Unfortunately I lost the file, and never got to re-record good vocal audio :'(

So maybe I don't know how to sing... and never plan on learning or trying, but maybe that is my trademark thing as a singer... being terrible, because you just don't hear that ^_^

What a twist!

So the lesson of the story is

Be Yourself

Because you will never be as good as me, and that's okay, because with great goodness comes great abs, and you don't want these abs...
