I am delighted to speak to you today of the group Havana de Primera and its talented leader Alexander Abreu, composer and trumpeter. I will, for his biography, limit myself to summarize what Wikipedia says of Alexander Abreu.
Born September 6, 1976, Trumpeter, he graduated from the National School of Art and Music (ENA) of Havana. At the age of twenty, he became a recognized Cuban musician. He will be a trumpet teacher at ENA, but also a professor of jazz and Cuban music at the RMC Conservatory in Copenhagen, Denmark.
He worked with Groupe Danson, then created in Havana d'Primera in 2008.
Trompettist, author, composer but also singer, he is considered one of the most versatile Cuban musicians, as evidenced by his music, fascinating rhythmic and musical fusion of Salsa, Jazz, Funk and Afro-Cuban.
Notice to Cuban music lovers, if you decide to invest in his discography you will not be disappointed!
He is a maestro of musical composition, a score painter, an excellent trumpet player, with the ability to create vibrations in us by simply listening to his music.
I can quote a specific example that you all know: Me dicen Cuba. At the time 4 minutes 19 seconds very precisely, the introduction of the trumpet takes you simply to the guts. And even if we are absolutely not Cuban, at this moment, we feel transported by this Cuban national anthem re-arranged by Alexander !!!

- Mi MUSICA: On this title, screams rise in unison at 2 minutes and dust, a rise of screams accompanying the piano. Cries that sound like the departure of a general madness invading all people lying on the dance floor or not.
This title is inundated with breaks that make the dancers happy.
Mi Musica will always make me think of the Diablito, disco salsa in Paris.
-SOLO PARA TI, the title on which we used our shoes! Alexander's voice is still as calm and dominant. There are always several breaks and especially at "3 minutes 32", the melody and the chorus change. My favorite moment, "If you me pidas la vida te deoy ....... "

I can talk to you for hours, but neither the lyrics nor the writings will better illustrate this artist than listening to all his albums, his work. For many, this artist is exceptional. The result is that everything he undertakes will mark our generation.
