Yes I understand the constraint this would have on the Blockchain, and I do realized we have the capability of copying and pasting links.. And maybe that the way we are currentlyis the way blogging sites normally operate, but Steemit is not a normal blogging site!I would go as far to say that in the future it may not even be seen AS a blogging site..
Now there are competitors and similar platforms like Steemit being created, and some of them will probably allow the ability to upload music and even video..
By us doing this we could help grow the use of the STEEM Dollar as well, by offering the ability to purchase music directly from STEEM with their STEEM Dollars!

Now video could be used the same way!Not by just giving users the ability to upload our own videos/movies like on Youtube and earning from people upvoting them, but there could even be streaming services like Netflix!
Obviously we ARE still in beta and there is a lot that should be considered and tested, but I do think that these ideas should be considered to benefit users and help grow STEEM and Steemit!
