If you were a fan of Tetrahedroseph on bandcamp, you have already seen this. I released the new albums cover as a Bandcamp member exclusive sneak peek back in November 7th 2019.

Art was one of the furthest thing in my mind while I was creating this music. I was approaching the rapid completion of the last few songs when I realized I'm missing album art.

No cover, and no imagery other than GarageBand. That's not good. I can't use GarageBand art. I can't copy art of the subjects. References need to be light.

It took me a week to come up with an idea. At first, the fist image in the middle of the box was going to be my own. That's too hard for me to do in short amout of time. Hopefully, I can use me own fist for part 2. I'm no Bruce, but my knuckles look cool for a little guy. Anyway, it's was struggle to come up with an idea. I looked through old personal image archives and got nothing. Then, I decided I would make a text heavy album cover. I needed a background that was somehow related to fighting/JC or BL. So, I started randomly scrolling though my gallery... too many flowers, cat, fish, pinball ... cement impressions? Meh... no, none of that stuff.

Eventually, I scrolled upon this group of happy little images:

The image editing app I use groups my newly created images next to the original image. I'm not sure why, but I guess it's nice because it helps me find the original. The original is second thumbnail from the left. The first album draft is the third thumbnail from the left and it progresses on from leftest to right with the final album cover draft being the thumbnail of the far right. The middle row shows that I was in the basement. I remember taking those brown images while I was there... tangent... stoping... must continue...

I created the album cover's background using my picture of a service elevator's floor and some tricks in the mobile app Picsart.

The fist image comes from the free sticker section of the Picsart app. Sometimes the clip art and stickers have credits, but I don't see one this time. I intentionally made the fist look like it has jagged edges like a 16bit video game. I wish I had done the same to the text. 80's are back again, again. (I'm actually confused.)

We can see it again in the screen shot below, I circled it. That image was captured on February 26th 2019. Wow! We are so old. I need to drink more water.

If we look at the top left corner thumbnail we can see a top-down view of a box on a dolly and the same elevator's floor. I was "working" when I took these pictures. Good usage of time, right? Steem time? Other thumbnails in the image above reveal one of my famous DTLA Panoramic Window views. That's an old post series I maintained a few months ago. Maybe I'll do a... I'm not gonna promise anything.
