My ambient music album: anti-zero

in music •  7 years ago

Hello Steemians,

I would like to share an album of mine with you good folks. I've been posting tracks from it recently, but I thought you might like to hear the whole thing. I think it works together nicely as a whole.

The album's called anti-zero. I released it on Soundcloud around 3 years ago and I think the oldest track on it is around 5 years old. Since then I've been working on a fresh batch of tracks. These ones were produced on GarageBand, but I've since moved on to Logic Pro X.

I've only been on Steemit for a few weeks and I've really enjoyed introducing you to my work. It's been great getting such fantastic feedback and I genuinely feel like I am part of a really exciting new community.

It can be frustrating that my posts only get a handful of views, but I'm sure that as my list of followers grows so will my views... and hopefully votes!

I'm sure we've all been there!

That's one of the great things about Steemit though. We're all working together to curate great content and nurture talent. We're both content producers and taste makers at the same time.

Good ambient music for a long writing session. I'll bookmark the soundcloud page.

I really like the photo, too. There's something distinctive about Scottish light. Did you see the movie Under The Skin? It had a similar vibe.

(Of course now you'll probably tell me that was taken in London...)

Haha, yep was London! There IS something distinctive about Scottish light though. Particularly at sunset. It inspired a two part ambient track of mine called, remarkably, Glasgow Terrace Skyline:

Thanks for your comments by the way, it's fantastic to know people are actually using my music for recreational use!

Cool - thanks for sharing, it's great stuff. I like the borderline industrial vibe - fits well with the antennas in the skyline.

Thanks, I hadn't considered that :)

Really enjoyed the first track!

Thanks, it's really great to hear which track people like :)

Good album! I definitely feel some NIN vibes in there :P DRms and Towers are my favourites.

Oooh, thanks indeed. Hadn't considered the NIN angle, but I'm of course flattered ;) I love hearing which tracks people prefer!

The post is awesome !!

Thanks!
