Foreword

The words in this post are of my own. I have scratched the Internet and Facebook in search of the facts. I have not copied and pasted except where noted.

If you are ordering through a band, be sure to ask for merchandise too; that may also get you more discounts if you bundle. Remember, all bands are different in the way they manage their promotions so do not demand any special treatment. Just let them offer you any bundled rates.

8 ) Another Day's Armour

Coming out to open this shindig is New York's one and only Another Day's Armour. With their debut album entitled Phoenix in launching in early 2019, ADA created a buzz-worthy following by combining their influential sounds of arena rock and instrumental metal works. Arena rock is just a fancy way of saying that they sound like the big boys of rock. They really go the extra mile as to perform for the crowd and create a memorable visual appearance.

Another Day's Armour consists of:

  • Vocals - Daemien Drake
  • Lead Guitar - Nick Palma
  • Rhythm Guitar - Brian Kang
  • Bass - Joey London
  • Drums - Alec Keshishian

Having been signed to FM Music Management and teaming with Dynamic Talent International, ADA is fired up to take 2020 by storm by grabbing you by the balls, pulling you in and never letting you go. You will be singing along to their songs for weeks to come so be sure to buy their latest EP entitled Phoenix and be sure to also sport some merchandise so that you feel like a part of the band!

7 ) With Out Zen

Next on deck is a band called With Out Zen. There is little information to be found about this band. They have a Facebook Page and a YouTube Channel with 32 subscribers. According to their Facebook page they are indeed a band "Born to Rock".

6 ) Okami

Now this band, if you are from the greater Providence, Rhode Island area; needs no introduction; I work with 2 of the guys. This band is one of my favorite New England metal-core bands to come out in 2018.

Signed to an up and coming label that was established in 2012, The Rambudicon Agency is making huge strides in the past year by booking talent on multiple shows a month, Okami is finaly making a name for themselves and calling 2020 the year they make it. Well that is not actualy their words, more my own. I have a lot of faith in Okami and The Rambudicon Agency. Mike Carp founder of Rambudicon took these boys on back in early 2019.

Okami consists of:

  • Dan Abrames- Lead Guitar/Vocals
  • Scott Peterson- Rhythm Guitar
  • Rick Boardman- Bass
  • Devin Venditelli- Drums
  • Mike Boillard- Vocals

5 ) Tallah

Coming out of Pennsylvania, USA, is nu-metal band Tallah. Signed to Earache Records, Tallah offers a unique show apperance to every show they perform at. Even though the songs are the same, you will never see the same dull act twice! They play music that is loud, angry and intense.

A general overview of what nu-metal is:

  • Screaming Vocals
  • Melodic Choruses
  • Driving Bass Guitar
  • Dirty Overtones
  • Thunderous Drums

In 2019, Tallah has performed in New York, United Kingdom, Ohio, Pennsylvania, New Hampshire, Massachusetts, Arizona, Texas, California, Illinois, and Nevada (Las Vegas)! These guys definitly get around. I can not wait to hear where they are playing next. No other shows except for this one can be found. So if you are in the lower New England area on April 11th be sure to stop in. Also be sure to be at door open time to experence all the bands on this bill.

Tallah consists of the following members:

  • Justin Bonitz on Vocals
  • Max Portnoy on Drums
  • Derrick Schneider on Guitar
  • Andrew Cooper on Bass Guitar

The band's management can be contacted through Al at Earache records through [email protected].

4 ) Barbarian

I don't know about you but I am already getting very excited about this show since I am now mentioning the powerful, post-hardcore band, coming out of Providence, Rhode Island, USA.

Signed under the same label as Okami and featuring Mike Carp, singer and co-owner of The Rambudikon Agency, this band has been turning heads for the last 5 some odd years with some of the craziest, loudest and most outstanding musical performances that, yours truly, has ever had the honor of experiencing.

With the slogan of "Anything is Possible", Barbarian is out to do the impossible. With influences from bands like, Stray From The Path, Beartoon, Vanna, Attila, Every Time I Die and pretty much every band in New England they have performed with. Barbarian does not come up short when it comes to pure metal and down right, mosh pitting entertainment!

Founded in October of 2015, Barbarian brings an energy to the room that no other band, in my opinion, comes close; be it a signed global act or just a well rounded local act. Sure we have bands suchs as Fathom Farewell, Devil's Feedback and Okami on this bill, but I can personaly say Barbarian is one of my top favorites out of these three mentioned. I am the kind of guy that likes a good mosh pit. Okay enough of picking favorites. Everyone on this bill is just down right DANGERIOUS!

Barbarian's debut album (EP), titled "Expect Us" can be found on all major and minor outlets, such as; Spotify, Apple Music, Amazon Music Unlimited. Their album can also be purchased in CD format at any of their shows. They have performered all over the states of New England as well as New York in the past year.

Barbarian consists of the following members:

  • Mike Carp on Vocals
  • Mike Levesque on Guitar
  • Vinnie Bellows on Guitar
  • Brett Long on Bass Guitar
  • Kevin O'Connor on Drums

The band's management can be reached through Mike Carp of The Rambuikon Agency at [email protected]

3 ) Devil's Feedback

This show is definitly a show, now with the birthday boy's band; Devil's Feedback as a part of the co-headliner. With band members residing in both Boston and Providence, RI, Devil's Feedback is an experimental hardcore/metal act that create a sound an performance that just can not be beat on any level. Since forming in the year 2011 and still unsigned, Devil's Feedback has gone through a roster change and have finally settled on a solid crew, ready to attack 2020 with the drive and power only matched by bands, such as; Chevelle, Papa Roach, Killswitch Engage, Trapt, Spineshank, Hed PE, Mushroomhead, Korn, Godsmack, Sevendust, All That Remains, ICP, Twiztid, Tech N9ne and much more.

Devil's Feedback, in the past years have performed at some of the venues and cities in Providence, Rhode Island and Worcster, Massachusetts; Simon's 677, The Paladium and Fete Music Hall.

Justin Marcotte is the current vocalist of Devil's Feedback and he brings a form of raw power to the band. With angry screaming and melodic overtones, Marcotte is one of the most well known people in the New England music scene. Justin is also the talent buyer of the Fete Music Hall and from all the posts on Facebook that I read, this is indeed his "dream job" and I am very happy for him.

Along with Justin "Sane" Marcotte, the band also consists of;

Donny Hayes on guitar and accompining vocals
Christ Burrows on lead guitar
Anthony DiBona on the bass guitar
Justin Flaherty on drums.

If you want to book Devil's Feedback, please feel free to give Marcotte a call at Fete Music Lounge, +1-401-651-4961.

2 ) Eminent

And then there are two. Coming straight out of Providence, Rhode Island is death metal act, Eminent. Formed in October of 2018, this soul/progressive/metal act is co-headlining Fathom Farewell to celebrate Jusin Marcotte's birthday slaughter.

With influences ranging from Meshuggah to The Acadia Strain and Cattle Decapitation, Eminent has been been tearing up the scene in the past few months with great New England acts such as; Gravity Bind, Shapethrower, Desponder, Wrath of Hades, Kingsmen, Okami, Hope Before The Fall and many more.

With the release of their full EP entitled Infernal Void from 2018 and available through YouTube, Eminent is just the sound you have been looking for with band members; Dan Bianco, Andrew L'Esperance, Norman Plante and Charlie Holden tearing it up and holding nothing back.

As the new year (2020) kicks into high gear, Eminent is scheduled for the 22nd of February with Patient Zero. They are also performing before Monuments and Skyharbor on the 21st of April and opening again for Fathom Farewell on May 16 at Monopole Bar in Plattsburgh, New York. It appears according to their Facebook event calendar that they are open for the month of March, June and the rest of the 2020 year. Contact [email protected] for availability.

FATHOM FAREWELL

And now for the headlining act! For those of you that are not farmilar with Fathom Farewell, they are a Worcester, Massachusetts based band promoting their EP entitled "Consume The Earth" which is available on iTunes, Spotify, YouTube, Google Play Music and so many more outlets.

Formed back in 2016, this post-hardcore/metal act who has influences from their local and extended New England scene of the likes of Lions Lions to The Acadia Strain, Eyes on Satellites and Vana. Fathom Farewell is a huge supporter of the local scene here in Rhode Island, Massachusetts and the rest of New England.

Boston Rock Radio writes:

"Straight outta Boston, A Fathom Farewell took the stage to a growing crowd. If you like an incredible vocal range, this band is for you. If you like screaming, this band is for you. If you don’t like rock music, why are you reading this? Just kidding. But in all seriousness, you need to check these guys out."
-Eric Hooker

The above blip was taken straight off of Fathom Farewell's Facebook page, word for word.

Fathom Farewell have performed all over America at venues like: the Worcester Palladium, The Old Miami in Detroit, Wire in Illinoies, Springwater Supper Club in Nashville, Middle East in Cambridge/Boston, The Webster in Hartford, CT, Alchemy in Providence, Rhode Island and so much more. They have opened for acts such as; Bless The Fall, The Browning, The Muckrakers, Letting Go, It Lives, It Breathes, Ice Nine Kills and many more.

Their lineup consts of front man Alex Cohen, Gage Killion on guitar, Steve Almon on Bass and Casey Albiero on Drums. They can be contacted through Twitter, YouTube and Instagram, along with your grandfather's wire, also known as email at [email protected]. Yes they have a website too.
