Laurent Garnier is legend
One of the pioneers of electronic music from France who is a true legend. He started his DJ career in England in the 1980ies already and plays a very unique Style including deep house, acid, techno, trance and jazz. He is also producing music and is one of these guys in the industry that are different".
Laurent Garnier started as DJ in Manchester 's Hacienda club just when he acid house movement kicked-off and he played a major role in the electronic music scene worldwide. Usually he still plays at the big festival and in his early years was also called 'Flying DJ' as he played across so many countries.
Laurent is one of the few that own an ability to mix different genres and styles across the board. His sets include styles not many think do fit together such as techno, house, breaks, drum & bass, broken beat, reggae, hip hop, jazz, rock, punk and even more.

...and now I know both what acid techno and who Laurent Garnier is. I’ve been making electronic music my entire life, the last two years specifically on modular synth...but it’s been almost entirely in a vacuum. Since joining steemit and actively searching out knowledgeable electronic music curators to follow, Ive learned more in omen month than in years of -making- electronic music.
