Soundtracks that you may enjoy and may inspire you for writing a story (II) : "The Hunchback of Notre Dame", by Alan Menken

I thought to write this post next week, since I was planning it as a weekly publication, but as next week I will be a little busy due to my professional exam's solicitation  procedures, then I just advance this post.

Now, today's soundtrack  is definitely one which I would perhaps call it the darkest musical material produced by a company so "family-friendly" as Disney, and that the subjects covered in the films are so crude that a child inmediately could hardly discern in the era in which it was premiered.

In my opinion, the soundtrack of "the Hunchback of Notre Dame" is a gem. I had the opportunity to listen to it in Latin Spanish, European Spanish (or Castilian)  and in its original language recently while I was writing some ideas for the next chapters of my story. I even remember those days of my childhood when I was sitting and rocking in the hammock  justly listening to this soundtrack of epic notes; some melodies made me  imagine battles between knights and dragons...

Or between vampires and hybrids, currently.

Top 5 of melodies and/or songs of the soudntrack

  1. The Bells of Notre Dame (intro)
  2. Out There
  3. Sanctuary! (Score with Chorus)
  4. Topsy Turvy
  5. Paris Burning (Score with Chorus)

See you next week!
