Fl Studio African Music(Rhumba)

I recently got into music making on my free time and as always i try to self teach myself (there are no schools for this kind of thing here) and i choose fl studio as it was highly praised.
I have managed to learn to make not very complex EDM and House music but i want to go native and make African Music mainly Rhumba and Taarab. I have been looking all over for a tutorial on the same but there is none for a newbie like me, so i took a brave step and decided i will try to do it all by myself.
But i am not saying that if you have a link for one please send it to me i will be happy for the help, i am hoping that by the end of the whole exercise i will have managed to make my own tutorial on the same. Thank you all.flstudio.jpg
