With Nigerian rappers endlessly fighting over who’s dopper than who in the rap game, it’s left for fans to determine who the doppest of them all is since they all consider themselves the doppest, which brings us to the question of who you would recommend to represent Nigeria in a rap battle. Consider your options carefully before casting your vote.
We have M.I Abaga calling out every Nigerian rap artiste for increasingly falling short in the rap game. He went as far as saying that South African rappers are doing better than Nigerian rappers, except him, of course. Over on the other side, there’s Vector The Viper spitting out dope lines like he invented rap. Even the way he talks seems like a rap.
Let’s not forget the likes of reminisce who recently declared that he’s not an indigenous rapper, making reference to foreign Mexican rappers who rap in their local dialect but still rule the international music scene. In his opinion, if you don’t call those guys indigenous rappers, then he and his Nigerian colleagues shouldn’t be tagged indigenous rappers.
