Electronic music has splintered and evolved into dozens of sub-genres over the last 20 years. A friend turned me on to this sub-genre called Chillhop. Blending electronic beats with jazz, soul and old school hip hop, I became hooked instantly. I'm into music that is interesting, yet relaxing. Something I can have playing while I entertain guests, cook dinner or clean my apartment.
When I listen to Chillhop, Tropical House or Future Bass music, I feel inspired and somewhat intellectual. This music makes me think of far away destinations and what life might be like there. I like a good tune that helps me escape the boredom I experience.
My hope is to share artists or songs here on #Steemit that you might enjoy. In turn, I hope to learn about food, culture and music from you, as well.
