Every Monday I intend to post a music video (and a few words explaining my choice) I invite you to join me by doing same in the comments section below. As the forum (hopefully) grows my aim is that we begin to inspire our fellow Steemians to broaden their musical horizons by listening to the music that inspires us. The only thing I ask is that (where possible) every song we listen to is played nice and loudly on headphones or speakers in order that we capture its true essence.
As more Steemians join this venture there is also going to be the possibility of being rewarded for our musical tastes via the amount of upvotes each song receives. That said please never feel awkward about posting a track, a guilty pleasure or even your own musical ventures. I have an extremely wide range of musical interests but also understand that music like beauty is very much in the eye of the beholder. As such I may play my chosen song, but who am I to define what constitutes good music.

Another great song my friend .. very different sound to their other track, but a really nice contrast and very beautiful .. she had a great voice! Loving the chilled jam vibe to this one .. once again thank you for the music my friend, I'll be checking out some more of their back catalogue! :)

They reformed and started touring again in the early 2000's as far as i know. Reminds me of my 'Edinburgh Years' volunteering then nursing in the early 70s :)

Hey @ricia sorry I fell asleep on the sofa and awoke in the early hours .. but what a way to ease me into my day! A great track .. love the guitar riff on this one, can't remember where I've heard it .. it's on the tip of my tongue, a western or something!? My little one has discovered Greenday and has been playing some of their songs lately. Given global actions and political climate lately, I thought this one might be good for music Monday.

Hey my friend .. sorry I fell asleep on the sofa last night and awoke with a sore neck! :) Controversial I like it! :) Great track as well .. still remember when this album came out, nearly got to see them but I had a last minute issue and lucked out, gutted! Your little one certainly has a great taste in music .. must take after her father! ;) My year is off to a great start thank you and I hope the same can be said for you and yours. Hey @deirdyweirdy sorry but I fell asleep on the sofa and woke up about two in the morning! :D Hope you had a good week, a great choice from you .. a real blast from the past! Really enjoyed your choice this week, very different .. but certainly compelling, a very interesting sound and an intriguingly unique voice.
