Sticking with classical music for now, I wanted to choose a piece that's quiet and subdued. As usual, open the link below in a new window to play the track whilst you hear my story.
Tchaikovsky - Symphony No. 6 in B Minor, Op. 74 "Pathetique"
When you think of Tchaikovsky, the Nutcraker Suite is most likely where you'd head. But not for me. When CD Players were relatively new, not so much CD Players I guess but the Discman, I was lucky enough to own one but didn't have any CDs! So whilst shopping in Makro with my mum, I picked up a couple of shiny gold CDs - Tchakovsky and Mozart. So this was probably the 1st CD I owned and this, the 1st track on said CD. I've always had a cool tast in music as this continues to demonstrate.
