The thing to understand about a steemit tag is that pretty much any 25 character combination of letters, numbers, and some symbols can make up a tag. There is no real efficient way to provide a list of every possible tag that could potentially be used. That being said, you can see a more extensive list than currently is presented on any of the front ends that I know about here:
https://steemit.com/tags

From that link you can see almost any tag that has a significant amount of posts in it or that is used frequently. Posts no longer show up in the feeds of most front ends after seven days though, so that is something to keep in mind. If you are looking for a much more detailed and complete list, another option is to subscribe to an SQL service, like steemsql.

Your tags depend on what you are writing about. You can use #motivation #life #writing when your writeup is about life or motivation, you can use #pyschology #science #health too. You can also use community tags if you are active on such communities to showcase them and to also receive community upvote.
