After reading the answers here , @musing , it sounds like a good idea to provide a quick search serverside like you get on customer service sites, based on keywords, providing "already posted" questions containing the same keywords and the question "did you mean ... blablabla ... " (you know what i mean, lol)

in order to prevent unpleasantry, i dont think its realistic to expect all and everyone to go deep-searching for eventualities before they post, from a friendly customer perspective its probably the way to go too unless one wants to push all responsibility to the client which in 2018 is not everywhere accepted anymore

you already have the search box, i doubt i will require oodles of extra code to implement something that can prevent a lot of hassle

wouldn't you agree ?

It could be considered as a plagiarism depending on the kind of question the question is,there are

some generic questions that might not be

considered as plagarism, but remember i used the word “might”meaning i am not sure, but to be on

the safe side what you should do is that you should first of all ensure you search the question

on musing.io to know if the question is already available ,if it is not available then you can now go

ahead to ask the question but if it is available then you have to stop asking the question

There are many question similar to another question this happens because there can be question same due to same thinking so i think it would not be in any type of plagiarism.
As i have experience in this plagiarism so with the same question there cannot be found any fraud or scam but asking question and giving same answer will get your post in plagiarism and this will be hard to recover if you get downvote from community.

Hmm yes it could be considered as plagiarism and that is why using the search button on this

website would be very useful because you can use the search button to know if the question

have been asked before or not, though there are some questions that are similar but are different

in some ways but despite the difference you could still be flagged for plagiarism so that is why it is

better to just forget posting the question on the website, you can just simply ask a new question

entirely and i believe you will get good answers to
any good questions you want to ask, also people

on the website have to understand that if you want to ask a question make sure you construct

the question in a way that people reading the question will understand what you are asking,i

said so because there are some questions that

some could have answered correctly because it is in their field but they won’t be able to give good

answers to it if they do not even understand the question well..

Before you ask a question if you type it in the search bar next to Musing logo you can see that its a nice little typeahead search built into the system it will help you identify if its already asked or not.

In musing the question is the title of the post. Two people cannot enter the exact same things without copying each other. But, if one want to know the answer for the same question and the answer is not provided for the former question, you will be forced to use the same title ( i.e. ask the same question).

But the body of the question (the post) will never be the same unless copied from the former post. If copied in this manner it is obviously plagarism.

Therefore can have the same title (ques.) but can't have both the exact same title and body.

this is not a fraud because most of the time even if you ask a question the language is different . so it does not look a like same at all.
