¡¡¡Hola queridos steemians de todo el mundo!!!

Esta entrada la considero muy especial, pues les contaré cómo recibí el año 2018. Es muy emocionante conocer las tradiciones y costumbres de cada país, en donde todos esperamos el año nuevo de diferente forma. Pero en Venezuela, lo más importante es... Compartir en familia.

El 31/12/2017

Desde muy temprano mi madre y yo nos encargamos de preparar todo para la tradicional cena, la cual consta de unas deliciosas hallacas, pan de jamón y ensalada de pollo o gallina.

También se acostumbra acompañar este plato con pernil o pollo horneado, pero muchos saben la situación que estamos viviendo en Venezuela, así que tener este plato en la mesa es un gran banquete y bendición. Wow!! También lo acompañábamos con la infaltable Coca-Cola, pero ya ni la vemos en los mercados y cuando se consigue, a un precio muy elevado. Así que para tomar, mejor un Nestea :D

Una vez listo el plato principal, decoramos la mesa, con motivos alusivos a la navidad. Y corrimos a darnos un baño para el año nuevo celebrar. Con ropa nueva y una gran sonrisa en el rostro nos disponemos a esperar.

Mientras llega el año nuevo, más vale comenzar a tomar, digo... A charlar.

Me gusta mucho cuando nos sentamos a hablar de cualquier tema, el trabajo, la familia, el hogar, en fin todos los temas son buenos, la idea es ponernos al día si tenemos tiempo que no nos vemos, y si no, pues también :D Siempre surge una buena noticia que alegra la noche.

Hasta que llegó el momento delicioso…

Nos acercamos todos a la mesa a compartir esa maravillosa cena, que con mucho amor y esfuerzo preparamos. Agradeciendo siempre porque los alimentos no falten en el hogar. Con una sensación agridulce, pues muchos de nuestros familiares no nos pudieron acompañar, algunos se encuentran en otro país, y otros ya no están :( pero la vida continúa. Así que ¡A celebrar!

En esta ocasión solo compartimos mi papá, mi mamá, mi novio y yo. Y no les gusta tomarse fotos jaja… Por eso no tengo para mostrar, pero con tenerlos presente fue más que suficiente.

Se acercan las 12, corran a sus billetes agarrar.

Si, suena algo loco pero tenemos esa tradición de recibir el año nuevo con billetes en la mano. Para que nunca falten. Así que mejor Dólar en mano que Bolívar devaluado jaja…

Y finalmente el reloj marca las 12 de la medianoche ó 00:00

Minutos antes nos colocamos en círculo, para mantenernos siempre unidos (son nuestras creencias, y nada de celulares jaja solo billetes en mano). Mientras en la radio sintonizamos una emisora y suena la tradicional canción de gaita "Faltan 5 pa' las 12", luego hacemos el conteo regresivo y gritamos ¡¡Feliz Año!! Y nos damos un caluroso abrazo.

Confieso que esto siempre me genera mucha emoción, mientras escuchamos la gaita, pienso en todas las cosas buenas que pasaron en el año y me imagino las que están por llegar. Con mucha esperanza de que todo mejorará y que mis sueños y metas se harán realidad. Que los 365 días de este 2018 serán cargados de mucha salud, amor, unión, prosperidad y mucha felicidad. Porque qué mejor manera que vivir la vida riendo.

Mi novio @keiverfernandez cumple años el 01 de enero, así que aparte de desearle un ¡Feliz Año! también le grité: ¡¡Feliz Cumpleaños!! Creo que pocos pueden hacer eso jaja.. Mis mejores deseos para ti amor, ahora es que nos queda mucho camino por recorrer. Y este año será muchísimo mejor que el anterior. Besos.

El día fue largo, casi ni dormimos, sólo comimos y bebimos (celebrando su cumpleaños) con un pequeño agasajo que preparé para él. Así que considero que comenzamos el 2018 con buen pie.

Once the main course is ready, we decorate the table, with motives alluding to Christmas. And we ran to take a bath for the new year celebrate. With new clothes and a big smile on the face we are ready to wait.

We all go to the table to share that wonderful dinner, which we prepare with great love and effort. Always grateful that food is not lacking in the home. With a bittersweet feeling, because many of our relatives could not accompany us, some are in another country, and others are no longer :( but life goes on. So Hold!

This time we only share my dad, my mom, my boyfriend and me. And they do not like to take pictures haha ... That's why I do not have to show, but having them present was more than enough.

Minutes before we placed ourselves in a circle, to keep us always united (these are our beliefs, and nothing about cell phones, only bills in hand). My boyfriend @keiverfernandez is celebrating his birthday on January 1st, so apart from wishing him a Happy New Year! I also shouted: Happy Birthday!! I think few can do that haha... My best wishes for you love, now we have a long way to go. And this year will be much better than the previous one. Kisses.

The day was long, we almost did not sleep, we just ate and drank (celebrating his birthday) with a small treat that I prepared for him. So I think we started 2018 on the right foot.
