ဗုဒၶဘာသာဝင္ေတြထဲမွာ နတ္ကိုးကြယ္ ၾကတာလည္းရွိပါတယ္။ ရတနာသုံးပါးထက္ နတ္ကိုပိုအေလးထားရင္ သရဏဂံုပ်က္တယ္။ သာမန္ကိုးကြယ္ေနရင္ သရဏဂံုမပ်က္ေပမယ ့္ သရဏဂံုညစ္ႏြမ္းညိွဳးႏြမ္းမွာေတာ့ ေသခ်ာတယ္။ ဗုဒၶဘာသာစစ္စစ္တစ္ေယာက္ဟာ ရတနာသုံးပါးမွတစ္ပါး အျခားကိုးကြယ္ရာ မရွာေကာင္းပါဘူး။
နတ္ကိုးကြယ္မႈနဲ႔စပ္လို႔ အစဥ္အလာအရ နတ္ကိုပူေဇာ္ခ်င္တယ္ဆိုရင္ ပူေဇာ္လို႔ရတယ္။ ပသလို႔ရတယ္။ ဒါေပမယ့္မကိုးကြ ယ္ေကာင္းဘူး။ ပူေဇာ္တာနဲ႔ ကိုးကြယ္တာဟာ မတူပါဘူး။ အခိ်ဳ႕အိမ္ေတြမွ ာ ကိုးကြယ္ပူေဇာ္မႈေတြ ေရာေရာ ေႏွာေႏွာျဖစ္ေနတ ာေတြ႔ရပါတယ္။ ဘုရားေက်ာင္းေဆာင္မွာ နတ္ရုပ္ ဘိုးေတာ္ မယ္ေတာ္ရုပ္ေတြ မထားေကာင္းပါဘူး။ ဘုရားနဲ႔တစ္တန္းတည္း ဘာကိုမွမထားရပါဘူး။ တစ္ျခားဟာေတြ ပူေဇာ္ခ်င္ရင္ တစ္ေနရာရာမွာ သီးသန္႔ပူေဇာ္ပါ။ ဒါေပမယ့္ ကိုးေတာ့ မကိုးကြယ္လိုက္ပါနဲ႔။ ဥစၥာစည္းစိမ္ဆင္ းရဲတာက တစ္ဘဝသာဒုကၡေရာက္မွာပါ။ အသိဉာဏ္ပညာ ဆင္းရဲခ့ဲရင္ေတာ့ သံသရာအဆက္ဆက္ ဒုကၡေရာက္သြားပါလိမ့္မယ္။
