Museum - Show Us Your California

Hi friends,

This post is an entry into the weekly Show Us Your California contest hosted by @socalsteemit where we share an aspect of our California.

California has a rich history, as many places do. One way to enjoy and memorialize the history is museums. There are large number of great museums in Southern California but one of the biggest and best is the Natural History Museum of Los Angeles.

My family and I spent a half day at the museum recently - here are some pics:

Of course, the gem and mineral exhibit was my a favorite and I enjoyed looking at the great specimens.

The kids had a fun time learning and it was a great day out.
