I didn't know there were states that only allowed gambling on the river. Interesting fact! And lovely photos, I haven't visited Shreveport (or Louisiana at all) but I would like to one day. This place looks so relaxed and peaceful.

Yep, I even reasearched it but couldn't find the answer to how they are able to get around the laws of the land just by being on the water. I think it has something to do with who says they own the river. Because as I was reading the history some parts of the red river were owned by the spanish a very long time ago and as people tried exploring this river they just ended up being told to turn around and were sent home. lol
