Yesterday, I paid a visit to one of the high schools I attended and it was all waves of nostalgia
My day started at Colab, a co-work space where I was steeming from morning till noon.
(The Beautiful Art Studio)
I started Secondary school in 2005 at St. Michael's Anglican Diocesan College Kaduna but my family relocated to the southern Kaduna and my Sister and I had to change schools.
The school we changed to was Challawa Secondary School
(This is a picture of the entrance)
I was in JSS2 (Second year, Junior High) at that time while my sister was in JSS1. I didn't like the uniforms at first cause they were really big for us and I looked like I was in a sack but 😂 I got over it.
(Once you get in, this is the first view you get: I used to remember the proprietress's car being parked under that mango tree)
I left the school 2008 for Christmas Ambssadors' college. It was a boarding school. I used to be really amazed by boarding schools but my Dad didn't like it so he made a deal with me. The only condition for me to get to boarding school was if I topped my class three consecutive terms.
And YES!!! That I did. And we left Challawa.
I made some friends there at Challawa School and some stuck for life, right now, I'm done with University and I'm still very much in touch with some of them.
(Play Ground: The facilities have reduced, I guess kids play more on their phones these days)
##### Well, I had a meeting with two of my friends and I discovered that they teach at Challawa Schools
And that's how I got to Challawa yesterday.
(I'm feeling like a professional photographer 😂)
The new Fine Arts Teacher is my friend, Bob Sam ☺
He's so so talented and creative, he made such a nice place o the Fine Art class and he's just been there for some weeks.
I'm sure the kids would enjoy him.
He allowed me take some pictures of the class, se Ethan below
P. S: he's still working on the place, I'll go see it in a month

(Art wall: various art pieces are hung here, I think some are for sale.)
I met 4 final year students; Grace, Tosin, Yetunde and Ganiyat. They're writing Jamb (University Entrance Exams) on Saturday and Tuesday.
I spoke to them about their future ambitions and it was nice listening to them: The future is safe.
