So, you may have heard about our thunder god Thor?
One of the myths is about how no one else but Thor can lift his main accossery Mjølnir, Thors hammer.
Yesterday I came over this poem about the giant Thrym.
(Trym’s Poem, Trymskvadet, Trymskvia)
This is a poem filt with humor and it is untraditional for its time when the masculine thundergod have to crossdress as a woman to get his hammer back! Because Trym acually manage to steal Thors hammer!
Hammer symbolic for manhood, power and masculinity.
How could Thrym steal Mjølnir? How is this possible? Any suggestions?
