Aceh holds so much extraordinary natural wealth, so many tourist attractions in this region that display the enchanting charm of the Creator. Although it was hit by the tsunami disaster, the panorama of natural beauty here always attracts tourists to visit. One of them is Puncak Geurutee located in Aceh Jaya district which is never quietly flooded by local and foreign tourists. Not wanting to be left to enjoy the natural beauty of my Geurutee mountain tops with my family traveling very far to enjoy the natural charm of Geurutee peak. Our family depart from Lhokseumawe to Banda Aceh, Our journey is actually his destination to Meulaboh because there is a family event.
We left by private car, on the way from Lhokseumawe to Banda Aceh many beautiful scenery that can be enjoyed but we do not stop just to see through the car windows only, like the beautiful scenery in Seulawah mountain that has a winding road. In addition to the natural scenery there is also a group of monkeys waiting for road users on the roadside, the monkeys are used to being on the roadside because road users often give them food such as bananasand cucumbers, and any food that is in the car is given to monkeys therefore wild monkeys are not fierce they remain benign but they do not want to touch by anyone.
When we arrived in Banda Aceh we paused to rest and let go of fatigue for too long in the car for 6 hours. After resting we just made the next trip to Meulaboh which passes through the peak Geurutee.
On the way to the top of Geurutee there is also much we can enjoy to rejuvenate our tired eyes due to the uncomfortable rest, the vast expanse of rice paddies and the beautiful hills plus the cool air make us satisfied with what we see and feel . To the Geurutee mountains we are all very vigilant because it has many inclines and also derivatives that many sharp turns in front of him. Roads in the area of Mount Geurutee also fairly extreme, because the side of the road directly facing the ravines and cliffs prone to landslides when it rains. Tourists are not advised to visit when it rains, because it could endanger the safety of the soul. This area is also part of Ulu Masen Forest which is the lungs of the world in Aceh.
Similarly, in the area of Mount Seulawah, around the Peak Geurutee area is also often found monkeys hanging in the trees and on the side of the road they are waiting for food from tourists. The presence of these monkeys became a phenomenon of its own that dinanti tourists. Visitors need not worry, because although these monkeys live wild in the forest, they have been accustomed to interact with tourists every day.
Entering the peak of Mount Geurutee Many stalls and cafes are found that peddle various foods and beverages.
Arriving at the top of Geurutee we stopped at one of the stalls on the sidewalk, while ordering some food to relieve hunger we also enjoy the cool air, the gentle breeze greeted me as I watched the beautiful scenery.
Warung and café is designed in such a way, thus allowing tourists to enjoy a culinary dish while looking at the expanse of sea, small islands, and the beaches that are around. The cold air, and the wind that blows from the ocean would be more enjoyable if you sipped a cup of Aceh coffee or a young coconut.
Once satisfied with the beautiful scenery we also take pictures ria there, Many visitors who come to this place who just want to capture the natural beauty that emanated from the peak of the mountain. So many objects such as islands, vast oceans, beaches and rimbunnya forest that can be used as a photo object.
The day had begun to dim the omen of the night will soon arrive we are preparing to leave the place, because our journey is still long then I must be willing to leave that beautiful place although I am still not satisfied and still want to enjoy the sunset from the height of the peak Geurutee must be very beautiful and exciting. That's a bit of experience and my story for you who like to travel. Wait for my next story and experience 😉.
