So on the original post announcing this series there where a couple names I didn't recognize. Jho Low was one. Last night I looked into him a little.
It seems he first appeared in the news in 2009 as a young Malaysian high roller dating the likes of Paris Hilton and Lindsey Lohan. He flaunted ridiculous amounts of money and purchased elaborate art and jewelry for Hollywood elite.
He is currently under investigation for his involvement in stealing over 4.5 billion dollars from the Malaysian people. He has been implicated by the ex-prime minister as the mastermind of the scandal where a government fund was drained.
His location is unknown at this time and officials involved in the investigation have asked for interpol to help locate him. His assets were frozen. The investigation is ongoing
I think it is interesting to note that Hillary Clinton spent a lot of time in Malaysia while Secretary of State.
