Narendra Modi is an Indian politician who has been serving as the Prime Minister of India since May 2014. He is a member of the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) and the Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS), a Hindu nationalist organization.

Prior to becoming the Prime Minister, Modi served as the Chief Minister of the Indian state of Gujarat from 2001 to 2014. During his tenure as the Chief Minister, Gujarat saw significant economic growth and development.

As the Prime Minister of India, Modi has launched several ambitious initiatives such as the Make in India campaign, Swachh Bharat Abhiyan, Digital India, and the Pradhan Mantri Jan Dhan Yojana. He has also taken steps to improve India's relations with other countries and has undertaken several foreign visits.

Modi's policies and leadership have been a topic of much debate and discussion in India and abroad. While some have praised his efforts to bring about development and modernization in the country, others have criticized him for his alleged lack of tolerance towards minorities and his handling of certain issues such as the Kashmir conflict and the farmer protests.
