Growth and Failings

There are times when the cold breaches your bones.
That you can't have what you work hard for.
Both these things cause hardship in the life you live.
Both will help you become darkenned and starved.

Sometimes weakness is all you have to become stronger.
You know that because when you are on the opposite side,
you know what light and happiness is.
You hold this tight on days that are cloudy.
You bend over backwards and try harder.
You hold the wanting of better nights.
You belong to your own mind, Yourself and you.

There are ruff patches, and sometimes you hide, grasping at straws to get those who only see your darkness bright, a chance to revert and see you ... see your shine.

What will you do 9n the day you die?
Where will you go when all you life messes seem to have grown beyond your control?
Will all that be held against you then on that specific day when you are by yourself, even though before you closed your eyes, everyone you knew are all around?

Broken dreams leading to fixed accomplishments.
Angry thoughts and uncontrolled wisdom beaching.
Cold beginnings sought and glued together in the end.

The breath in and out, holding on really hard to what you still have and had.
Like a passed rainbow from person to person as they hold your hand.
