It was in Iceland that the name geyser was born, from the verb gjósa, which means "to spring up". Unlike volcanoes, geysers are forces of nature that can be admired without taking too much risk. Each one of them tells a story that tells us about our planet, both so strong and so fragile. This water gushing from the bowels of the Earth is a beautiful way to remind us that it is a most precious asset.
