During the driest time of the year, right before monsoon season, ancient saguaro elders are extending their arms to the Sun, and produce the most delicious fruit on this planet, nourishing abundantly all desert creatures.
Yesterday the air was delightful, I could smell rain and hear thunder. Although it is way too early for weather like this, it was a nice little tease, filling my being with so much excitement. I went for a nice walk through the wash, into a very magical area. Supposedly this place has the most dense saguaro population. Feeling so blessed to be able to walk there from my house!
