Did you know that crickets can count?
I was just browsing through my social network feed an I stumbled upon a piece of information regarding the humble cricket. Apparently their little chirps can indicate the temperature of the environment around them. The warmer the weather, the faster they chirp. Interesting!
To put this theory to the test you need to do the following:
- Count the number of chirps one cricket makes in 14 seconds,
- Then add the number 40.
Voilà!
You now have the current temperature in fahrenheit.

Let me know how you go.
