STRANGER THINGS while traveling. What the HELL is this?

South Africa is really an outstanding place. The light! @purepinay , the light is a dream!

You've got a fantastic travel idea there. Hermanus, the Garden Route, you're travelling from one postcard into the next. In case you also have time for the Cederberg Mountains, I can warmly recommend them to you. They are fantastic and not very far from Cape Town. You find Waterfalls with nobody there and you can hike and just be free. And if you're lucky, you can encounter these remains from another time created by the San Bushmen.

Another place that really blew my mind was the Drakensberg Mountains - which is not far away from Kruger National Park. You could go pass by there when you're going to Kruger. The Drakensberg Mountains are half in South Africa, half in Lesotho - a little Kingdom enclave.

It is a place full of mystery, a totally different society from ours and you really get the feeling that there is a dragon flying over the mountains every second.

There is the sani pass that you can go up and you will find balancing rocks and untouched nature. Does it sound like something you could enjoy? xx

P.S.: I have never been to the Philippines - but I'm craving for it!!! Where shall I go? x

Wow! You know a lot about Africa! Thank you for sharing, I screened shot this and saved it on my travel diary :) yes, I have a diary lol keeps me going in this life.

Did you encounter any problem during your stay in Africa? I am paranoid that during my travel , I might meet the wrong people, specially I have trust issues, I am skeptical lol...

What? You've never been here? You should really visit. To be honest, the Philippines have it's on beauty, but far from what Africa have. The people are very welcoming. If you happen to decide to visit and am still in the Philippines, I can show you around. The Philippines have a lot tourist spots. If you visit though, I'd take you to my hometown, It's a secluded island but rich in natural resources, we have farms and huge body of water to fish. You can even stay in my grandma's house she have two bedroom house the other room is empty most of the time. My grandma loves visitors :) you'll her, she's very sweet.

Btw, where's your family? Where is your birth place?

I really you, you know? :) you are so nice and you take time reading my post :) I appreciate your time... Feels like your far but you are near, I like connecting with people. All my close friends are busy working in corporate office. I seldom talk to them coz of thier work schedule. :( I am glad, I found a person like you who likes to listen and understand the essence of communication.

I followed you and upvoted. To be honest, most of the time I forgot the follow and upvoting system. I just want to make friends too. I like to learn new cultures 😀...

Hopefully someday, or somewhere down the road we'll bump into each other and share some interesting things. Sorry, must be too much... You'll probably think am in desperate of friensa. Truth is, I am desperate with attention since I was a kid, I think there's a psychology behind it. I won't go that far. I am happy that you and me are communicating.. 😀

I'll talk to you soon, I have to start getting ready for bed

Xoxo

Hi @purepinay ! I think there is no reason to be worried about meeting the wrong people.
You will encounter the right travel buddies. I'm convinced by it. I found my travel partner for South Africa via Couchsurfing at the time. I still believe it is an excellent way of finding travelers with the same taste of traveling.

I would love to see travel to the Philippines ! What would be the best month to do so?

Hi, @elenahornfilm!

Thank you for getting back on me again.

Thank you for the tip. I'll remember that. I'll try not to be paranoid when I travel abroad. LoL I've only been to South East Asia. And for me, nothing can substitute experience when I travel and meet people from other cultures plus, it gives you cool stories to tell to my friends and family.

You should, let me know if you decide to visit. =) I currently live on a different island, called Cebu. It's beautiful here also, lots of things to do for travel enthusiast. I can definitely show you around. Best month would be from March to May.

Hi @purepinay ,

this is great advice! I can also advice travelling to Durban and exploring Kwazulu Natal from there. It has a very different climate because the water is coming from the Indian ocean as supposed to from the Antarctic and Atlantic in Cape Town. Just in case you prefer it hot.

How come you chose South East Asia as your preferred destination of travel? x

Well, I want to travel everywhere. I won't be going to South Africa anytime soon though, but I really love to discover African wildlife and to explore the beauty our heritage. My first big adventure will start next yeaar. First Stop is South America, the Spanish Colonial. Then USA then South East Asia. If I get lucky I will be travelling all over the world before I get old =)

I went to Thailand and Singapore once. I will be going back to Thailand this year bcoz I really miss the food. I tried to cook some Thai food but some ingredients here are so hard to get. Have you been to Thailand?

BTW, what do you do for an exclusive documentary series on Steemit?

@purepinay - yes, that's correct. We are editing on it at the moment.

It is a lot of material to go though and edit but it is very enjoyable and I like the idea to see if this is really an alternative for linear television.
We can experiment with the narration because there are no fixed rules that we must follow.

And we are already thinking about where to shoot the next series. What would be your recommendation?
